Computer programming languages support similar concepts and sometimes even use the same symbols for representing those operations.  This shirt tells the story of the not-so well known mathematical operation called the modulous operator, or MOD operator, for short,  is used to calculate a remainder from a division problem.  The MOD operator is also the Modulo Gear namesake and the reason why we give a "remainder" of all sales to Computer Science education.
